Get Ready for Your Next Adventure in Malaysia – Start Here
Even if you’re a Malaysian, it’s hard to plan for a getaway in your own country.
While my friends are all geared up to conquer the world, I’m more inclined to travel smart to discover Malaysia.
For me, there is no greater diversity of culture that can be found abroad than in my country.
Whilst Malaysia is best known for its beaches, rainforests, it is her unique diversity of electric ethnicity of her people that makes Malaysia truly Malaysian.
Adventure in Malaysia – Go West and East Malaysia
Both the Peninsular (West Malaysia) and East Malaysia are separated from each other by the South China Sea.
You may meet the Malay, Chinese, Indian, Eurasians, and the Orang Asli in West Malaysia and think we are diverse.
For me, I simply found out how truly united we Malaysian are when I traveled to Sabah and Sarawak. It is in Sabah that I met the friendliest mix of ethnic groups living peacefully together.
The Malayan aborigines (Orang Asli) live in a close-knit community. The Orang Asli food habits and food choices make them consider it impolite to eat in front of someone without sharing.
Planning an Escape for Your Adventure in Malaysia
Malaysia is the only place that Malaysians feel most at home when they travel. There are particularly a few things that you have to plan and think hard about.
If you’re visiting Malaysia for the first time, I assure you, you will fall in love with a multiracial Malaysia, filled with abundant cheap, delicious street food, fresh seafood, and the most delicious tropical fruits.
You could spend a day of adventure-seeking at the best dive sites and the next on a night out in the capital, Kuala Lumpur.
So if you’re planning the next couple getaway, a family vacation or a gap year backpacking trip, you will find your travels here enjoyable and memorable.
